It’s a safe place, but there are places like San Telmo where are a little dangerous at night. But in general it’s a very safe city with a lot of polices, the best places to stay are Canteras Beach at night because there are a lot of tourists here and there are a lot of people in the street.
Posted: December 30, 2024Really safe for women. You can walk alone 24/7. Las Palmas offers a great environment and the locals are friendly. It is a beautiful place to live, also for holiday. Las Palmas and the island around are great
Posted: June 6, 2024I'm actually live in Lanzarote, Las Palmas. But I consider all islands in the Canary Islands very safe for woman. I do not feel afraid of walking alone even at night. People are very welcoming and kind.
Posted: May 23, 2024Here you don't have to worry about your safety. When I arrived, everything seemed unusual to me. you go to the beach and you can leave your things on the sand and go swimming. At night everything is well lit and it’s not scary to walk around. There is always a feeling that the police are nearby and if anything can help you. and in general the police here are very friendly and attentive

This city is really nice and living. I worked there for 6 weeks and as Young lady I never felt unsafe. What I particulary like is that there’s a plenty of activities to chose of ;) I Would recommand you going there and pick up a nice hostel nearby the beach la cicer.

In Gran Canaria, I feel safe both day and night. The restaurants and cafes are not expensive. I have a friend in Gran Canaria, so I spend my money only on food. The beach, Las Canteras, is magical and the best for swimming.
