How safe is Enschede for women?

Enschede is a small town in the Netherlands. The University of Twente is located here. So there are a lot of students in town. In the area you can visit small villages and go for a hike. In the centrum enschede it's very "gezellig" (fun/cozy) with lots of bars and restaurants.
