Is Eindhoven Safe for Women? Crime & Safety Index

I have lived in Eindhoven for 2 years, and I have always felt safe in all environments: day, night, busy or late at night. Almost never harassed, but attention is always good. Super safe public transportation.

I consider Eindhoven to be very safe. I never experienced anything warranting a criminal report, never felt particularly unsafe in an environment. It is a city of 200.000+ people so of course some attention is required.

Eindhoven is a safe place to visit, there are no real bad neighborhoods that I would avoid for other reasons than that there's just nothing interesting there to see or do. The amount of homeless people increased a bit over the years, but I never had any issues with them or heard of anyone who did.

It’s a pretty safe city. Of course like any other place it has neighbors that you are better off avoiding at night, but mostly within the “ring” you are fine. You don’t hear it often that someone was assaulted / mugged, let alone murdered. I am a dancer at a night club which means I get off work at 3:30 in the morning and have to bike back to my apartment alone. I have never had any mayor issues besides being catcalled once.

well it depends on where you stay but overall it’s a safe and active city. especially there are a lot of students out here so there is active life in eindhoven even at night. but some places after dark I do not feel safe but nothing happened. it just a unsafe feeling
