It’s really safe! But still got to watch out walking alone at night as a girl. While I do it and feel absolutely safe you still have to be conscious about your surroundings. During the day it’s safe and transport it’s really good to other city’s and country’s
Posted: February 13, 2025Its very safe, since tbe town is not too crowded, and there is good social control just like in the rest of the Netherlands. In all the years of living alone here, i never had any problem or an unsafe feeling that came out of nowhere
Posted: February 10, 2025It is pretty safe, depends on where you are staying but I wouldn't say it's unsafe. Just watch out for men like always!!! When in stratum, going out, there could be men cat calling you or just being really annoying
Posted: January 7, 2025A fairly safe city where the “regular” visitor will not experience very bad stuff. However, there are certain areas that are best to avoid. Also, as a woman you will not so much experience violence, but verbal sexual harrasment can happen. There are many international students in Eindhoven, so as a foreigner you don’t “stand out” so much and you can just ease into the crowd.
Posted: December 29, 2024I feel like i can walk alone at night, i did many times. I never got in any trouble or assulted. I feel safe overall. The only place i feel a bit unsafe is the club area. There is a lot of dunk people and creepy man.

It's really safe actually i rarely feel scared walking alone at night, the only thing is al lot of homelessness lately. They are usually out at night on the street..... Selling d*ugs. But they dont really want anything from you.
Posted: December 25, 2024I feel like Eindhoven is pretty safe. I haven’t felt unsafe here while walking alone of using public transportation. I feel like the police here is helpful and there is a lot of police during events and in area’s where people go out in the weekends
Posted: November 18, 2024Im from here but as a local I have never felt unsafe ever. I walk alone in the streets at night, also during the day. But I do only see the city centre as I live close by. I can’t speak about the outskirts of Eindhoven and safety. It’s mainly very busy here and I know a lot of people.

I have lived in Eindhoven for 2 years, and I have always felt safe in all environments: day, night, busy or late at night. Almost never harassed, but attention is always good. Super safe public transportation.
Posted: September 9, 2024I consider Eindhoven to be very safe. I never experienced anything warranting a criminal report, never felt particularly unsafe in an environment. It is a city of 200.000+ people so of course some attention is required.

Hi I am a 43 yo Nomad. A real one. Like my ancestors I also can’t stay in one place for to long. After working in the metal health as a therapist for 15 years and 3 burnouts I have left that and become a dance teacher. It was my hobby. Covid took that away from me and lately I am turning another hobby of mine into income, i mean i am trying to, and i now organize art and women centered retreats in Türkiye. I am based in NL but i travel a lot. Usually to Scotland ones a month. I am a very easy going person and been told to be easy to talk to. English is not my first language but I do my best ;)
