It's a beautiful country, rich in history. We explored all of Rome and Florence. Unfortunately, there were some petty thefts. Also, the crowds were overwhelming everywhere during this month, which made it difficult to enjoy the cities. The small vendors are also very annoying. For example, in the evening at the Pantheon, you'll be looking not at the starry sky and an architectural masterpiece, but at flashing children's toys flying in the air and having to wave off persistent vendors.
