I did not feel safe with all the homeless and I did saw someone get shot is the leg. But otherwise is was good. I like lake havasu more and that have nearly no crime. So if you can, go to lake havasu, Nevada instead
Posted: January 14, 2025Walking and public transportation largely were very comfortable experiences. Late night walking for food/drinks with partner felt like the right call. Weeklong trip went without incident. Looking forward to the next visit.
Posted: January 11, 2025The streets were safe enough but I was very attentive in metro. There are cool restaurants all around the city. It’s called an expensive city but I believe there are budget friendly activities and restaurants
Posted: January 8, 2025As a woman, Yuba City did not feel safe. I would say skip this city altogether and head to Grass Valley, there’s some nice rivers to swim in and honestly the best organic food and restaurants. I basically just went for Navaratri at a temple and that experience was absolutely incredible.
Posted: January 2, 2025Durango, Colorado ended up feeling like a second home by the time I left. I went with my partner and it’s his hometown. It’s such an adorable mountain town with yummy food, gorgeous nature, and a ski resort. Highly recommend for people who love mountains.

I felt very safe and at home. The wildlife and society is very beautiful and welcoming. The culture is pretty cool too, I caught a few festivals in telluride. There’s lots of fun things to do and fun people to do them with.

We stayed at Brooklyn cause it was much cheaper than Manhattan, but still close enough to be at the Times Square in 30 minutes. The public transport is fascinating there, the metro network is easy to use and comparing to how much we used it, its relatively cheap. The food is expensive and full of calories but so so so delicious. It worths to try it, really. For program: watching a Broadway musical, visiting the Statue of Liberty and that small Zoo in the huge Central Park is a must. I liked every and each moment of this trip (even tho we visited Queens where I didn't felt that safe than anywhere else).

Posted: December 30, 2024I visited the area for a rave with about 6 other women. Our air bnb was near a small shopping center that we visited several times and felt very safe walking there during the day and night. Average working class families in the area.
Posted: December 29, 2024Experienced: October, 2023Los Angeles was overall a nice experience. I met some friends and I stayed there for three months and I enjoyed the sun. There are a lot of things to do like museum, visiting filming Studios but I would say that it can be really dangerous based on the place you are staying. Also, don’t take public transportation in Los Angeles because they are not safe and they are a lot of crackheads in the public transportation so I would advise you to rent a car and stay in tourist areas.

Posted: January 15, 2025Safety in New Orleans depends on what neighborhood you are in and what time of day you go out. The French Quarter can be very fun during the day however at night it does get to be a little sketchy. Neighborhoods like mid city and the garden district are wonderful all day long.

I’m a high school language teacher, and although I’m older, I have a youthful attitude. I like to meet new people, try new food, and learn something new as I explore new places. I prefer spending longer times in 1 place rather than a day or two in many places. Plain and simple. I love to host visitors and take them around, too.

Hello, I’m Rachael! I am easy going and always keen on meeting new people. I love travelling but all my friends are now married or have kids. I’m look for some travel buddies to travel with. I am not keen on solo travel at the moment but honestly have so much respect for those that do it (good on you!). I’m looking at travelling to the USA (LA, NYC, New Jersey, Vegas and Boston) in 2025, so if anyone is keen on joining me or live on those locations that would be open to showing me around please let me know 😊
