I stayed downtown and stuck to public transportation, which always felt very safe. I know there's a stereotype that people in Seattle aren't super friendly, but the overall vibe was on par with what I've experienced in other big US cities.

I had a great time in La, i love the variety and atmosphere! Got to be safe and careful as women tho. If you find your people (and there is a group for everyone) I assure you will have an amazing time!

I went to Raleigh last year with my partner. It was super fun! Some of the attractions in NC are very fun. I enjoyed being there. I felt safe for the most part but after dark it was a little sketchy.
Posted: September 23, 2025Experienced: October, 2024i felt safe but a bit expensive. i really enjoyed with universal studios. i stayed at hilton orlando lake buena vista. the overall experience with the hotel was good. i would give 7/10. the main problem was to find anything to eat at night (all shops were closed)
Posted: September 18, 2025I love LOVE Atascadero. though I will say it was the town I stayed in because of my grandpa, the area around Atascadero is the nicest wineries beautiful scenery Paso Robles is the wine country where most American Wineries actually source their grapes. sadly, I didn't sample. However, I loved the Sculptera winery, where they have the largest metal sculptors amongst the tastings and vineyards. Madonna Inn is a must for the beautiful pink hotel and bakery/ boutique/ cafe/ wine celler I've started coffee shops, so I also tour around to get inspiration for setup taste and design, and I loved Jobellas and BRU, but there are so much more a couple of towns down, you have themed bnbs and downtown. San Luis Obispo has a quaint airport and train (Take a train if you can because of the experience )

A very safe, quiet little part of Orlando with Farmer’s markets every Friday. It’s about 15-20min drive from most theme parks. It’s a mostly residential area, and it’s a great place to get a more affordable Airbnb.
Posted: November 5, 2025Overall I feel pretty safe here. However I was dealing with car thefts in my neighborhood. An increase in homeless people make me more aware when I walk anywhere. I honestly think the most dangerous part of the city is the roads. It’s important to have awareness when driving as it can be confusing.

Tourism spots are generally more secure, but take all of the precautions you normally would in a busy place. If you're driving, drive defensively - local traffic safety enforcement can be inconsistent.
Posted: November 3, 2025Boston is one of most populated cities on the east coast of America. Yet, it is one of the only places where I have felt safe for such a populous city. There are many students and young adults around and everyone tends to stick to themselves. The public transportation system here also always has workers sprawling and ready to help in case something were to happen, which is unlikely.

I'm a Florida transplant & been here since 1985. 38 countries later, and I still call here home. For a big city, it still feels like community you know by name. Proud of our city and the inclusivity
