Québec was very nice little city ! I felt very safe and people were very kind. Accommodation : I stayed at youth hotel Qbeds. Which was good for a first time because you have curtains around your bed and the atmosphere is very cool. If you like silence maybe it is not the best place to sleep on the Friday and Saturday cause there will be parties. Visits: I booked a ticket to have a guided visit of Frontenac castle follow by a brunch to the castle restaurant. By the way the brunch is amazing. I did a cruise until Orleans island and waterfalls of Montmorency. It was beautiful. Good restaurants seem to be a bit expensives but I ate well!

I felt extremely safe. The areas are generally crowded but it’s filled with people having a good time. The food is absolutely amazing. There’s a lot of culture, I recommend the castle tour. Try any restaurant that serves game (I.e. rabbit, venison etc) I drove but it was easy getting by just walking. Parking is safe. Things are a bit more expensive. I didn’t stay in Quebec City but about 30 minutes away.

Quebec is a really calm city. There is no trouble going out (appart the cold). In the night there is absolutely no one in the streets, but if there is they will go really quickly to not bother you. There is nothing to be afraid of. If you have a problem, a lot of Quebec citizens are reaaly friendly and they will help you

Québec City is a really safe place. Can be a little bit scary for woman from 1to3am if you are walking in busy street or close to bars. Otherwise, I would say that I feel pretty safe everywhere at anytime

About Me

Hi, I'm Noëlle, a queer French journalist in her 25s 🏳️‍🌈. I live in Lille since June 2024, but I used to study there for 5 years. So this beautiful and authentic city has no secrets for me ! As we say in France, the Nord is a warm and sweet place with really generous people, despite the bad weather that usually occurs. So it would be a pleasure to make you discover this place and where I come from :) If you want to prepare some chating subjects : I love animated movies, indie pop and rock music or electro, I draw a lot and love to cook meals from around the world. If you have a new recipe to share, I'm in ! 🌷
