I was in a hostel with people from argelia, turkish and other people from northern africa. At the beginning they seem nice but I stayed in a mixed dorm and in the morning the guy in the upper litter was jarking off, I told the receptionist to pit me in another room, they gave a solo room. One day I went for a running and a guyy stopped me in the street talking romanian and when I said I didn’t speak he said if I wanned to have sex with him, that he had big pennis, i left running the guy still...
Posted: February 18, 2024Very safe place! You can enjoy the parks, the squares, the malls numerous coffee’s and a tasty food. By night you have a lot of clubs The weather in summer is pretty hot , around 30 and in the winter it is pretty cold so it is way much better to come in May ;) If you need an advise or a guide in Timisoara, don’t hesitate !

Timișoara is a very safe city, you can be walking anywhere even in the middle of the night and you’ll feel very safe. There have been no crimes here, so even as a woman going alone you won’t feel in danger anywhere.

It’s pretty chill, I don’t go out much here, but I’d say it’s the okay, I do go out at night though and nothing unreasonable has ever happened, it’s safe but also kinda boring 😅 Lots of clubs too by the way
Posted: December 18, 2025Timișoara is a beautiful, quiet, and safe city. I often walk alone at night and have never had any problems—occasionally someone might call out a word or two, but nothing extreme. As with any destination, it’s still wise to take basic precautions. Enjoy it!
Posted: August 10, 2025I’ve lived here my whole life, and I’ve never been harassed or assaulted on the street or in public spaces. In general, people are decent and mind their own business. Like any city, it has its flaws, but overall, it feels safe, especially during the day and in central areas. As a local, I’ve always felt comfortable walking around, even alone and at night.

I'm Lia, 29, and I was born in Timisoara, Romania. I love traveling and would love to meet new people who I can share some of my travels with. I walked the Camino de Santiago in 2024 (from Sant Jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, and then on to Finisterre and Muxia - about 900km on foot) and it's been the most fulfilling experience of my life, especially since I did it solo. I love to travel for concerts (so far I've seen Noah Kahan, Billie Eilish, Rosalia, The Last Dinner Party, Chappell Roan, Brandi Carlile, and a few others) but also to visit theme parks (I'm a rollercoaster enthusiast and would love to connect with more women who love to chase the thrills). I speak fluent English and Romanian, but I also can have a decent conversation in Spanish. When I'm not traveling, I'm an independent artist (singer/songwriter and busker) and a guitar/voice teacher. I also volunteer with a queer organization and have worked as an Erasmus+ trainer on Digital Storytelling for the queer community.

I’m someone who likes to connect, I also like honesty, and self-growth. I enjoy learning about people, noticing small details, and bringing warmth into the spaces I’m in. I’m thoughtful, curious, and always becoming a better version of myself. Short, human, and basic , or painfully specific, that’s also doable.
