Sibiu is indeed such a beautiful city! It is sooo historically rich and the house with eyes is something one must not miss. I love the streets, it was soo colorful along with the vibe of that whole city was something magical.

I felt so safe! People are lovely, the town is quiet. The Christmas Market was amazing with many handmade and artisanal pieces of art. La Turn is definitely a great restaurant. I'm in love with Cafe Wien as it's a core childhood memory. Mercure is great, but so many hotels right in the centre. Traffic is good. Definetly recommend! (Kinda cold for some people, -3°C. But it's worth it for that frozen winter wonderland vibes).

Brunch at Charlie’s was a treat and we also stumbled upon a handmade market where we got ceramics, candles and stickers as souvenirs. Would definitely recommend!
Posted: December 27, 2024Sibiu was one of my favorite places in Romania. The city is quite small, very pedestrian-friendly and full of interesting places. I had no safety issues.

The city is very safe, no thieves, but do not leave your valuables unsupervised for a extended period of time, and do not go after dark in the woods. Since the woods is nearby sometimes bears can wonder in the city and its best to keep your distance if you spot them.
