Oradea is the most safe country in Romania. City center, and almost every neighborhood are very safe. I’d be worried only in Valenta neighborhood because there live other ethnic communities. Public transportation, walking around alone by night are overall safe.

Oradea is a very charming and peaceful city as a whole and a great place to live or visit. As a local, i would say that there are only a few streets that feel a bit unsafe for a woman to be alone after dark, but very safe overall. People are chill and welcoming and will not mind interacting with tourists but will not bother them. Great architecture and coffee places :)
