Is Antigonish worth visiting?

Is Antigonish safe for women?

I’m from a smaller city in Cape Breton but I study here. Antigonish is a university city and that’s what attracts people to the city. You really become familiar with the area very quickly upon arrival. There’s little to no public transportation but that’s majority of the province as well. The safety issue stems from drunk people (especially men) who don’t know how to handle their liquor. I can confidently walk around town all hours of the night. People are very friendly here too
