I was lucky to be able to travel as part of my studies and during the past 5 years I’ve lived in London (UK), Brisbane (AU), and Toronto (CA). Solo travel
Lived in Rennes for a year. Very safe area as a solo woman. Not as many expats in this area. I would recommend learning some French to make communication easier when needed. Close to tourist areas like Saint Malo or Mont Saint Michel (both 1 hour distance).
