The whole city felt extremely safe to me. I didn’t partake in any nightlife but walking around alone throughout the cap, the old town, and along the trails were wonderful. I stayed in the old town, and hit the market every morning then parked myself at Milo’s for coffee each morning. Le Sentief du Littoral is a must if you’d like a cheeky trail. Nothing terribly challenging but it goes along the perimeter of the cap so you get a great view of the Mediterranean. It’s a long walk but there are points throughout where you can leave. The cabanas are okay, and the private beaches can be convenient but frankly Antibes is so non-rowdy, the public beaches are so tame. My favourite was Plage des Ondes. Be sure to brush up on your French to chat with the locals, the people here are absolutely wonderful. Also be sure to check out the galleries and ateliers!

I did a little day trip with my friend to Antibes and we absolutely loved it! We’re currently staying in Nice, and Antibes is only 20 minutes away by train. Sooo worth going! Way more quiet that Nice and very picturesque, heard people playing the accordion for the first time too! The views from the coast are stunning and we even managed to go in for a swim! I’d say it’s a bit pricey but probably the same than around France in general. Felt safer than around Nice too. You MUST try the gelato at the Gelateria del Porto! €4 for a small but it’s very generous and delish!

Antibes is beautiful! Give old architecture vibes and beautiful greenery everywhere. Stunning little shops what have stunning items. My favourite place to get a cold treat was the Gelato place by the beach and there is a amazing pizza place joined to it.

It’s a nice small beach town in south of France. Very delicious food and reasonable price. May is beautiful here. There are many people coming here for cheaper accommodation for Cannes film festival. It only 8 minuties TER ride to get to Cannes. But the hotel price is much cheaper.
