About Me

I am new to Europe and originally from India. I have been pursuing my master's and enjoying the travel flexibility and access that comes with it. I am an avid reader as well as love discovering new artists and songs. I also enjoy F1 and currently working on trying to understand the sport better. Professionally I am in Finance ( pinky promise not the stereotypical finance bro 🥹 ) I enjoy discovering new places and roaming around without any agenda to balance things.

Is Antibes worth visiting?

Antibes is such a nice city!!! I totally recommend it! My favorite place is the cafe nomads, such delicious pastries and drinks, just wow!! The baristas are also really sweet and nice, just lovely ❤️ If it’s warm I recommend going to the beach, but the best thing about Antibes is, that you can easily get to other cities by train, like Nice, Grasse and Cannes🙌🏼

The whole city felt extremely safe to me. I didn’t partake in any nightlife but walking around alone throughout the cap, the old town, and along the trails were wonderful. I stayed in the old town, and hit the market every morning then parked myself at Milo’s for coffee each morning. Le Sentief du Littoral is a must if you’d like a cheeky trail. Nothing terribly challenging but it goes along the perimeter of the cap so you get a great view of the Mediterranean. It’s a long walk but there are points throughout where you can leave. The cabanas are okay, and the private beaches can be convenient but frankly Antibes is so non-rowdy, the public beaches are so tame. My favourite was Plage des Ondes. Be sure to brush up on your French to chat with the locals, the people here are absolutely wonderful. Also be sure to check out the galleries and ateliers!
