My partner and I went to Paris before visiting my hometown. We had a lovely time while I showed him around, as he had never been there before. We even went to many thrift shops, as well as lovely cafes and restaurants. We also visited Versailles and the gorgeous parks. I felt quite safe with him there, but the metro system wasn’t functioning properly at the time. If you do decide to go, I’d recommend preparing for the possibility that trains and metros might be down.

At St Christopher's Inn, a hostel. I liked it and it's really not expensive. For my first experience traveling alone I felt not freaked out but a little scared I guess. I would recommend that hostel tho
