It is very safe. How ever, it is a little racist. In the 12 years I’ve lived here I have been hate crimes twice. I was walking downtown when someone yelled the n-word at me as I was crossing the street. Another time I was yelled slurped at and some teenage boys jumped on my car and wrote the n-word on my car.
Posted: January 10, 2025Sioux falls is a pretty safe place, crime rate is increasing, but nothing crazy. Just make sure to stay safe, especially downtown, dont be alone, and if you are, bring pepper spray, especially around bars
