Saint Paul is a wonderful city with plenty of safe areas, but you have to look out. One area will be a friendly neighborhood with kids running about and then a block down is an area to avoid. If you know the twin cities well enough it can be a safe and beautiful experience.
Posted: January 26, 2025It depends on the area you're in! The section where my apartment is at is quite chill. It's more quiet and out of the direct downtown, so I'm not too worried. I avoid being alone on the streets at night, if possible. My parking lot has been safe, my building is double locked. In general it's better than parts of minneapolis though.
