Redding is relatively safe! Most homeless leave you alone but be smart and aware like everywhere else. Downtown at night can be really one of the only times I would be worried but I have always been out with a group and there are plenty of good people willing to walk with you to your car/uber.

Redding has a bunch of homeless people, as long as you don’t interact with them you should be fine. There are also some parts of town you should avoid, but if you stay in public well lit places you should be fine.

I’m a mom of two. Getting a divorce. Looking for friends to travel with. I am new to solo travel but am very much looking forward to it. I am looking to chill, try something new, and do some eat, pray, love stuff
