Palm Springs is town of retirement and gay people so overall very chill and safe. It is a small and quiet town and people do a lot of outdoor activities during the daytime like hiking and biking and playing golf. Super chill
Posted: August 6, 2025Palm Springs is a very quiet retirement community and easy to navigate on your own. Many business close around 7 at the latest, and downtown is almost always surveilled by police. There is a large homeless community, though I have rarely found them to be hostile.
