I honestly haven't had any bad experience, thank God. But I have seen on the news and I have heard that Jackaonville is one of the most dangerous cities in Florida, so that worries me. But honestly I haven't experienced it and hopefully I don't have to.

Beautiful city. Just like any other city in America, Use common sense and basic safety protocols , be aware of your surroundings and always have a safety plan. Would recommend still for solo or couple traveling
Posted: March 25, 2025Jacksonville is the largest city by land mass in the U.S. with many different communities. The neighborhood I live in is very safe and there are many safe areas. Parts of downtown and surrounding areas can be worrisome but are easily avoidable. Ive also been out at night in downtown with a female friend and we had no issues.
