Grand Rapids is relatively safe in the city. I wouldn’t feel safe walking around everywhere at night. I feel safe during the day though. There are quite a lot of homeless people and sketchy crowds but I have never been aggressively cat called. I do carry pepper spray at night with my friends but during the day it’s quite safe. Transportation is definitely a bit sketchy. HOWEVER the areas around Grand Rapids are extremely safe. The holland to Hudsonville area is so so so safe. You could walk around any of those towns at 2 AM and be fine.

Hi! I love meeting new people and learning about their lives.I love to try new foods, go on long walks, weight lift and run, read fantasy and romance books, and basically anything that is an adventure and makes life feel more like a movie.
