Downers Grove is a family town that does not experience violent crimes. It’s not so close to the city but it is about a 30 minute drive depending on traffic. The downtown area is about a 15 minute walk from my house which I have NEVER felt unsafe. It is a mostly liberal town with easy access to public transportation and all amenities.

I have two older brothers and live with one of them and my parents as well as 3 dogs and two cats.
