I think Des Moines is very safe. Use common sense and pay attention no matter where you are. I always trust my intuition and leave a place if it feels unsafe. Most of Des Moines is safe and I haven’t been worried.

Des Moines is a fairly safe place especially for travelers ! There isn’t a whole lot out here to begin with . It’s a pretty small town from what I’m use you .. I can’t wait to see more things and travel more
