Honestly Cary is one of the safest parts of North Carolina, especially in the Raleigh durham area. It’s a diverse, progressive city with low crime rates. Public transit options are safe but limited with not the most frequent schedules.
Posted: October 27, 2024Cary is a quaint small town and a suburb of Raleigh. It is very safe and pretty. Beautiful lakes and parks. We are 2 hour drive to the beaches and a 3 hour drive to the mountains. If you are looking for a small town feel Cary is a great place to visit.

Hi, I’m Kate. I’m a curious and adventurous traveler. When traveling, I prefer to immerse myself in the culture and community that I am visiting. I am an ambivert- I have both extrovert/social energy and also need some quiet/introvert time to recharge. I love nature and hiking, reading, and paddle boarding.
