Bakersfield can be safe, it just depends what part of town you’re in! For example, if you go to the east side it can feel a bit more unsafe than going or being in the west side of the city. The west side is nicer, cleaner, and feels more safe overall.
Posted: May 29, 2025It's 50/50 unsafe and safe. Some aspects in safety would be neutral others very unsafe and some moderate unsafe and some would be safe with awareness. I would say living here is the most unsafe while being here for one week is safer.
