Overall feels super safe and I’ve always felt comfortable, I often finish work around 1/2am on Fridays and Saturdays and have always felt totally happy walking home alone. Although probably not the best idea at the bottom of town and I would still stay aware. Either way I’ve never had any bad experiences here at all.

Because it's a small town, there's barely any crime here! I'm usually out walking at 12 am from a pub and there's not a single drunk man ever! I find it very safe tbh! Everything here shuts down by 10 that's the only downside x

Winchester is a very safe, cute historical city. Like any city, I would always advise solo female travellers to trust their gut and follow the overall common sense guidelines, but Winchester is known to be a safe city, with lots of lovely scenic walks, pubs & coffee spots
