There are certain areas which are known to have slightly higher crime rates and more shift individuals, but avoiding those areas means Swansea can be entirely stress free and safe. Swansea is also an incredibly busy city so you’ll never be deserted.

Swansea is a little seaside town, not very busy but not too quiet either. I’ve lived here all my life and I’ve rarely ever heard of any major violent/sexual/ murder cases against women. It’s pretty chill, I guess because it’s not very touristic or popular :)
