I have always lived here and there have been one or two occasions where I have felt unsafe but overall I would say it is safe. Just the usual precautions e.g don’t walk alone in the dark in a lane. Recently though I feel there is an increase in risk compared to the past. It also depends where you go.

I've lived here many a year, as a teenager and as an adult. I've seen the occasional fight but never witnessed a stabbing or anything. I personally have never had anything more threatening happen than being cat-called.
