Is Leicester safe for solo female travelers?

Leicester can be safe, as long as you are vigilant and stay away from strangers who give you weird vibes!! Biggest issue is drug users who can be a bit rude / uncomfortable interactions - never be afraid to walk away

For the most part it is safe if you keep to yourself, there are always areas that are less safe than others but stay on main roads and you will be fine. The city centre at night can have weird people and check the news for any protests happening.

Leicester City is quite deprived. There is a fair amount of homelessness. I have not personally come across a crime in the city however there are certain areas I would not want to walk around after dark on my own.

Leicester, like many UK cities, is relatively safe. With appropriate precautions (don't go to 'dodgy' parts of the city), you will have a perfectly safe time! The city centre is perfectly fine to visit in the day time, and pretty safe at night too.

Not very safe at all, dodgy people everywhere. Want to be roadmen, no respect for anyone or anything at all. Lots of people who think they can do anything they please and lots of uneducated people who sadly find themselves in drugs and gangs.
