Derby is safe and quiet for solo females, although not really a tourist attraction. It is relatively small and easy to navigate so no one thinks anything of solo females, even after dark. There are always plenty of people about in the town centre.
Posted: June 30, 2024My neighbourhood is safe to walk around in with friendly locals who are often walking dogs or carrying out exercise or around the parameters. There are public buses 10-15 mins walk away and lots of taxi services available.
