Is Lund Safe for Women? Crime Rate in Lund

Lund is a small city and quite chill, but it is close to Malmö which has a bit of criminality. That's why there can be some things that happen but overall Lund is super safe! I always feel safe walking by myself, even after dark.

i think it's very safe, i walk a lot in dark places at night and have never once been scared. the bad part is that i've heard stories of women getting sexually harassed at the clubs:( so be extra carful there.

Very safe environment with respectful people. No catcalling in the streets or random unwanted male intrusion. Walking around at night feels lonely but safe. It is a student city so you’ll mostly see and interact with other students

Lund is a very calm and safe city. Its safe for both elders and students. Many families live here because its a safe and calm environment to grow up in. It differs very much from Malmö in that way. Come visit!

Lund is a very safe city! I have traveled alone at night while intoxicated without a worry. People are kind and are glad to help you with anything and it’s over all a great city to live and study in. I have never been in a dangerous situation in Lund.

I would say Lund is pretty safe, you should always be cautious but in general really good. I have been living here for a couple of years and never had a bad experience. Be safe and be aware but have fun:)

Lund is a beautiful city that is home to a lot of students from all over the world. I’ve lived here my whole life and always feel safe walking alone after dark, taking public transport, etc. The people are always helpful (although very swedish and cold at first) and you can always ask a local for help. If you travel here alone you don’t have to worry more than standard safety.

Lund is a student city so it is filled with young people. Very small city and it is very safe to walk at midnight. Public transport is quite reliable too! The locals there are nice and there are people from diverse cultures so it is very international!
