I would say that Luleå is very safe because it’s a smaller city in comparison to Stockholm. I usually feel safe wherever I am or whatever im doing in Luleå, but I always, no matter where I am, stay alert and vigilant, if walking home alone at night for example. Most people are very friendly. I would say that Luleå is a very “tourist friendly” town because we have a lot of exchange students at our university and want more new people here to explore the city! Stay safe :)

Luleå is a small northern town. Incidents do tappen but overall very safe! I am not much of a nightlife kind of person so i cant speak much for that but i do think even that is probably rather safe but as always be aware and stay safe.
