I feel very safe in general, in the main shopping street is a police or safety guard almost all the time. At night i see police patrolling the streets very often. The city is lit up well during the night and there are almost no dark corners. I do not know of any thefts and such and my landlord also reported no one really taking stuff. So I would say it is a very safe city. Although I was not here during tourist season yet, so no idea about pickpockets then, but still I would say ok the world scale a very low crime rate.
