I would say that Linköping is quite a safe place. Generally people are nice although Swedes are not always so open at first :) I would not be scared going here as a female solo traveller. There are some areas to avoid but if you stay central it's normally not a problem :)
Posted: June 12, 2024Common sense is a very good safetyprecaution anywhere. Also in Linköping. Dont go to abandoned places, especially at dark. If possible take a taxi home if you are tipsy or staying out late. Have your phone charged and with you🙏
