Córdoba is pretty safe, transportacion works so eficient and rarely something happens in the midnight. However as a girl I just dont like to go Alone in late hours in the night. Not that anything happens normaly but just in case
Posted: August 31, 2025Cordoba is very safe, in turistic zones you have to be aware of pickpockets but it isn't a city to be afraid of. As it is a residential city, you will find that it is nice to live, as the criminality rate is low. (sorry for my english jaja)
Posted: August 13, 2025It's a pretty safe area with a lot of family and tourists, local are really nice and the security is kind of hight with a lot of police man but be careful about the women with rosemary near the tourist activities they will try to scam you so don't take the rosemary !

Córdoba is a fantastic city to visit. It’s very varied and there’s a lot to do. I was in Córdoba for the start of the Feria which was amazing but probably a lot more fun if you’re with a group. I felt very safe walking around the city alone both during the day and night. If you’re going to be here for a few days and aren’t staying within five minutes walk of the Mezquita then pop up to the Plaza de Colón and get a tourist bus card. Really good value and it’s nice to be able to get the bus back for a siesta when you’ve got tired legs from walking all day! If you’re visiting the Mezquita (you must!) then also opt for the extra €3 to go up the tower - it’s an unbelievable view. Leave at least a few hours free in your itinerary to amble aimlessly around the cobbled streets. You’ll end up at a plaza at some point and can sit in the sun with a caña and a little tapas. Lovely. Don’t believe the hype! Better than Sevilla!
