Mexico is very safe for tourists! Is you can, stay in the tourists areas just to be sure. Condesa, Roma, Juarez, Coyoacán, Del Valley, Narvarte, San Pedro de los Pinos, Polanco and Santa Fe are the safest neighborhoods so if you can, stay there. Condesa, Roma and Juarez are super centric so I would recommend those in particular.

Mexico City is not very safe, but as a woman, you can take some advice to stay safe. Avoid certain places, especially at night. The safest places are Coyoacán, Roma, Condesa, and the city center.
Posted: October 26, 2024It depends widely in what area you're in tho but Acapulco is known for being one of the unsafest cities of Mexico for a reason. I'm already living here for 4 months tho and I never had any problems. So I think if you do some research you'll be fine. Locals say, the further up the mountains you go, the more dangerous it gets. Along the Avenida costera Miguel alemán you should be fine due to the heavy military presence there. Locals are extremely kind and friendly
Posted: October 10, 2024Its nice! The main square is super touristy and safe, you will get drugs offer at the bars and nightclubs, even at the streets. You can walk by the 5th street freely but if you walk a few blocks away from the main area or if you are around the beach very late you might get robbed.
Posted: October 4, 2024Cancún is overall safe during the day, if you stay in downtown and don't go outside of the main center of the city. For example: Avenida nader, bonampak, near las americas mall or market 28 are safe during daylight but don't go to the areas where we call them la ciento (100,120) or even two hundred might be more dangerous. Even though it's mostly safe don't get distracted and always be ok the lookout for sketchy people or situations and even if you're on these safe areas, beware. Most important be more careful walking in the dark as not all the areas have good lighting at night. The hotel zone is safer than downtown but I still don't trust it 100%
Posted: September 14, 2024Like in an other cities Mexico City have some areas where is more provably that you suffer any robbery but in general you can feel free around the city. In my personal experience I never been in any danger situations.
Posted: September 12, 2024Guadalajara it’s a great destination if you come to Mexico. It’s full of cultural spots and new trendy places when it comes to art, design or even fashion. It’s a very safe city but you have to be careful in some areas

The safety situation in the city is always changing. Sometimes its seems to be ok but the reality is that you have to be careful the whole time. Is not a place where you can find touristic areas around. It’s just a city of passage to cross the border to USA
Posted: August 26, 2024I think Guadalajara is mostly safe, at least in the most touristy places and during the day, maybe I would be a bit more cautious at night and avoid to walk alone. Always keep an eye on your stuff, there might be pickpockets in some areas

It is a peaceful place to live, I like the proximity to CDMX, Valle de Bravo, Querétaro. I like the food, the weather, and the safety. There are places to go partying and do fun activities. I enjoy living here.

Playa del Carmen is beautiful but do not go in August it’s extremely hot and the beaches smell bad. I got a heat rash and burned my skin tremendously so I would say definitely visits just not in August
Posted: November 1, 2024I LOVEEEE PVR!! It is one of the safest cities I have ever traveled to. The locals are the nicest, most welcoming people. There’s a really big gay male community there so the nightlife is a lot safer as a woman.

I can also would love to share stories of life and just experience the city through your eyes. I personally started traveling when I was young through Mexico seeing the pyramids and the rich culture of my country inspired me to travel outside when i could. I could give you recommendations for Mexico and help you with your Spanish. Nos vemos! ☺️
