Unfortunately Guanajuato it is a place where the insecurity is part of the daily life, but I try my best to keep me safe, the place where I live has security cameras, a guard, an alarm and the neighbors are always aware if something happen. In downtown the streets feel pretty safe for me, but I am watching my stuff or aware if someone comes behind me, I am mexican so I am used to always be careful when I walk on the streets, and even with the high rate of violence I have never experienced kidnapping, rape, get robbed or anything like that.
