I recently arrived in Canada, and so far, I have not personally witnessed any concerning incidents in the area where I live. The community seems peaceful, and people generally appear friendly and respectful. However, my perception has been influenced by numerous videos on TikTok showcasing crimes and violent incidents occurring in different parts of Canada. These videos often highlight cases of theft, assaults, and other forms of criminal behavior. They have made me somewhat anxious, as the contrast between what I see online and my own experiences can be confusing.

I am moving to Sydney Australia in May and would love to get to know local people to show me around. I am going on working holiday (Work Visa 417).
