Moncton is super safe. Of course there is still criminal activity but I feel highly confident in walking alone after dark, even downtown. I would avoid the side streets downtown possibly if I felt unsafe in any way, but I mostly feel safe.

Moncton is honestly a pretty safe place. I would feel confident walking downtown Main St after dark alone. I might not walk the other side streets as I know there is a lot of homeless and drug addicts. But I’m still not overly concerned about it. Moncton is great and for the most part, pretty safe!
