Kingston has some homeless people, but they are generally in known areas like Belle Park and the downtown portion of the K&P trail, so avoid those areas after dark to avoid any mishaps. Crime may be a tad more frequently in the Division Street part of town. The city of kingston police does maintain a crime map, so I encourage you to check it out as well.
Posted: January 31, 2025Kingston is generally safe. There has been some break ins around the University campus where people get robbed but that is not too common. I am not worried to walk alone at night, even close to downtown.
