Boring, but safe. I love the people who live here! There aren't many things to do here, but you are 25 minutes by bus from the closest metro station in Montreal, which is pretty cool! There are beautiful churches and the people are welcoming.
Posted: June 17, 2025It is a very calm city, full of hidden spots and places to visit. I feel comfortable walking even late at night in the streets, which are generally empty (I have my German shepherd so that helps my peace of mind haha). People are generally polite and rather bilingual (English, French) with a preference for French.
