Lovely towns with great communities and infrastructure. Very safe and family friendly. Not a lot of thing to do for abroad visitors apart from park and forest walk. Overall great place to live and raise a family.

Hi! My name is Catherine, and I’m a Canadian planning a solo backpacking trip across Chile and Patagonia. It’s not my first trip, but it’s my first big solo adventure, so I’d love to connect with some like-minded people to meet up or even travel together for a few days. I’m a nature lover (I’m actually a biologist!) and a big fan of hiking, especially in stunning mountain areas. But I also enjoy exploring cities, visiting museums, and trying new things. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up, I’m a very bubbly person and get along with almost everyone. I’ll be starting in Santiago and making my way down the Chile/Argentina mountain range. If you’re interested in meeting up, feel free to send me a message! :)
