Is Sochi safe for solo female travelers?

I went to Sochi to see my favorite team play. I was lucky they were playing on my birthday! I bought some new team jerseys for my collection and saw some friends who live there. Taxi and public transport is pretty safe. However there is a high rate of alcoholism in Russia, so girls should be careful in the city centre and some poor districts in the evening.

Sochi is a really safe place because it’s a resort town, there are lots of tourists in summer and sometimes in winter. Good sea, picturesque nature, nice architecture, people are kind and happy here, that’s why there is no reason to worry at all.
