Is Sochi safe for women?

Taxi and public transport is pretty safe. However there is a high rate of alcoholism in Russia, so girls should be careful in the city centre and some poor districts in the evening.

Sochi is a really safe place because it’s a resort town, there are lots of tourists in summer and sometimes in winter. Good sea, picturesque nature, nice architecture, people are kind and happy here, that’s why there is no reason to worry at all.
