Safety:Very safe

Timisoara is generally safe and peaceful for solo female travelers. Romanian people are known for their hospitality and helpfulness, making the travel experience pleasant. Petty crimes such as pickpocketing can occur in tourist areas, just like in any major city, so take usual precautions: don’t display expensive items and keep your belongings secure. Public transportation is reliable and safe, even though it can get crowded at times. Restaurants and accommodations adhere to good safety measures as well. Remember, it's always safer to avoid isolated areas, especially at night.

Transport:Easy

Timisoara is relatively easy to navigate for solo female travelers. The city is compact and most landmarks are within walking distance of each other. There's a good public transport network and abundant taxi services that make it simple to get to areas further afield. Language can be a minor barrier as everyone may not speak English but usually younger people and customer service representatives do. Overall, visitors find it quite manageable to get by.

Solo travel experience

I was in a hostel with people from argelia, turkish and other people from northern africa. At the beginning they seem nice but I stayed in a mixed dorm and in the morning the guy in the upper litter was jarking off, I told the receptionist to pit me in another room, they gave a solo room. One day I went for a running and a guyy stopped me in the street talking romanian and when I said I didn’t speak he said if I wanned to have sex with him, that he had big pennis, i left running the guy still repeating this, I didn’t find one police all the way back to the hostel, the few days I stay after this I notice guys harassing mice looking womens in the street telling them things and every time I tried to go visit some touristic place at least one guy would try to start a conversation put of nowhere. No, I didn’t feel safe here guys. Just to find out later that is one of the countries that allows LEGALLY for women to sell themselves for marriage. Ciao
