I just spent a week on my own in La Paz, Mexico after a diving board trip and it was great! My b&b was 15’ walk from the centre but I always felt very safe whatever streets I took to get home. There are tons of things to do, but if you like beaches and diving you’ll be served! At any corner you can see cute houses or street art. I was expecting a bit cheaper prices, but apparently Los Cabos is even more expensive. People are very nice, saying hi on the streets but without being pushy or annoying. They even stop to let you cross the road, which I hadn’t seen in a while travelling 😅
