I have been living in Bremen for almost six months and can give good advice for newcomers. I am native Russian speaker, fluent in English and speak a bit German, so language exchange is also a good idea. My insta @adinaimkt

I am an open minded and lively person who likes to meet new peoples and travel around the world. Lately I developed a passion for diving and especially the red sea is so impressive, that I changed my habit to travel to a new spot each year.

Hi I’m Katrin and I’m originally from Bavaria in Germany. I used to live somewhere close to Munich but I moved to Bremen a few years ago to start studying Art therapy. I finished my 5 semester in March but decided to take a break and continue in September again. Before that I used to be an Aupair in the US and I lived with an American family for a whole year in Portland, Oregon. I watched 3 kids and we had a great connection, that’s why I’m back visiting them for my 3rd time now. I am very easy going person in general and I love good conversations and listen to peoples stories. I’m very interested in getting to know people from all over the world and see the different lifestyles. I’m usually very social but I also don’t mind being left alone and spent time with myself. You would find me sitting somewhere outside and either scribe in my scratch book or read.

Art, tango, box - just artist/ writer - now, but sometimes a photographer, sometimes I paint, sometimes I draw, I sculpted a long time ago and there was something beautiful about it. I was also a performer. I worked as a curator of contemporary art exhibitions, masseuse, marketing specialist, project manager ... also in space technologies .. I spent 2 years with a backpack on my back, walking aimlessly. And it's something very much about who I am. I fall in love with everything I haven't done yet. I love to feel. Emotions, feelings, all the senses. I live to feel. I love experiencing almost everything. I just like new things, new situations, new experiences, new flavors, new people, new ways of thinking. Nice, caring, but also crazy and with a strange sense of humor. For me, traveling is getting to know people. So if I'm writing to you, it's because I felt that I would like to meet you and spend time with you. I trust my feelings, first impressions and energy. Nothing by force, just good and warm experiences.

Local experience

I’m living in Bremen since October. When I came here I found a bit small the city, but with the pass of the time I have realised that the city is very beautiful. I will highlight this three spots, which are the most visited and also the most beautiful; - City center Square (Dom/Rathaus) -Böttcherstraße -Schnoor neighbourhood However, there are amazing plans to do and places to visit like: - walk through the Osterdeich / Schlachte 🤩 - rent a bike and go through the Bürguerpark, find the farm with Alpacas 🚲 - go to Viertel pubs to drink beer 🍻 - Kunst Halle, Focke, Universum 📚 - Am wall Bremen is quite calm. Maybe for me that I’m from Spain, sometimes I feel there is not to much ambience nor people in the streets. That everybody goes home early and there is no life. But, you also find the beauty in calm. 🖤
