Prague, Group travel

Prauge is fairly inexpensive when is comes to food costs, and me and my friend managed to find a hotel in central Prague for 200$ total for three nights for both of us. A must see-activity is the national museum in central Prague, where there’s historical motifs of the Second World War and artistic interpretations of Prague through out the time!

Fine infrastructure, well or and clean capital , even if it's full off tourists, it is still very nice and lovely, very rich historical culture, architecture. Good food, good prices and welcoming hosts.

I felt very safe. The food was average, but we also did not eat local foods or researched where to eat. So that could probably been „our fault“. But it also wasn’t bad. The city was very beautiful. We walked a lot, but you could also use the local tram. It came very regularly and the tickets weren‘t expensive.

Prague: punctual trams, delicious Vietnamese food, cool bars & restaurants, and live music. A city that runs like clockwork, with a vibrant nightlife and cultural scene. Must-visit! ✨ Obs: if you are an artist, go buy your supplies! The price compared to other European countries is very accessible🎨

Prague, Solo travel

I went to Prague with the DiscoverEu programme and at first i was a bit disappointed because it was rainy and the city seemed depressing but once i started exploring it i thought it was truly a gem. There are so many fun things to do that are not very crowded and felt so safe and fun. I was there mid august and the streets were full but i managed to find less crowded places to go to. The pride parade was in that period and I must say it was very chill. Some people struggle with English a bit but technology evolved thankfully. Definitely try some traditional food (and beer but of course responsibly) It’s an amazing city with a lot of history. My experiences there are not those usual experiences in Prague but it is truly beautiful and it has a lot of charm.

Brno

I've spent a lot of time in Brno throughout my life and I've never encountered any safety issues. If you walk alone at dark at some "worse" places, some strange people might shout at you, but I haven't heard about anyone having real problems with them.

Prague

Prague is a relatively safe city for solo female travellers since Czechs are known for not socialising much with tourists and minding their own business. You might be encountered by homeless people especially in larger tourist areas but if you pay them no mind, they'll leave you alone. At night the city centre is well lit and there are many cameras around, the only thing you need to look out for are drunk people or big groups of, usually not Czech, men.
