Overall I loved it. There’s a beautiful castle and a lot of wonderful café and restaurant options. Unfortunately, I came on Sunday when everything was closed except for local pubs with Czech cuisine which I’m not very fond of 😅 so be ready to wait till Monday when everything awakes. Plenty of currency changing points in the centre too

Solo travel

The food was amazing! The night life was fabulous! I haven’t gone out in ages and it was the single most best experience ever! I felts safe in and out of the club and the folks in the restaurants I went to were so helpful. Five starts

Couple travel

I felt very safe there are many activities. People's approach is nice. It is also close to many countries, which is a great advantage. I was able to go to Vienna, Germany and Lithuania with ease. I enjoyed every moment I lived here

Solo travel

I loved Brno and I really enjoyed it there. Great shopping, food, very affordable prices, beautiful cathedral, cool castle, and excellent beers. The old town is beautiful.

It's overall alright, there's a lot of people during the day, so you don't have to worry. Only at night, I would avoid train stations and Brno-Zábrdovice part of the city, since the criminality is higher there.

Some parts of Brno might look scary over night and you could met some weird people here, but over all Brno is pretty safe city, I wouldn’t be worried during the day because there’s lots of people there. Even during the night if you’re around centre it’s really okay.

Brno is pretty safe, I’ve never felt unsafe or bothered. The worst is probably Cejl, but overall there are no issues. Main train station might seem bad, as there are homeless people or drunks, but they usually don’t care about anyone. Even at night or early morning hours, I’ve never seen anything bad happen.

you can find homeless people and people on drugs in here, but they aren't dangerous. they mind their own business and you can feel safe. robery is not a thing in here and i've never experienced anything like violence there.
