Is Brno Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Overall I loved it. There’s a beautiful castle and a lot of wonderful café and restaurant options. Unfortunately, I came on Sunday when everything was closed except for local pubs with Czech cuisine which I’m not very fond of 😅 so be ready to wait till Monday when everything awakes. Plenty of currency changing points in the centre too

Solo travel

The food was amazing! The night life was fabulous! I haven’t gone out in ages and it was the single most best experience ever! I felts safe in and out of the club and the folks in the restaurants I went to were so helpful. Five starts

Couple travel

I felt very safe there are many activities. People's approach is nice. It is also close to many countries, which is a great advantage. I was able to go to Vienna, Germany and Lithuania with ease. I enjoyed every moment I lived here

Solo travel

I loved Brno and I really enjoyed it there. Great shopping, food, very affordable prices, beautiful cathedral, cool castle, and excellent beers. The old town is beautiful.

I would say my city is very safe if you don’t go to some particular places. One of them is unfortunately our main train station and the area around it, but even there it is not that bad and we are all used to travelling alone from there :)

Brno is a very safe city during day and night. The streets are wide and well lit. That being said there are two localities famously known for being rather dangerous: around the street Cejl and during night around the main train station.

Brno is safe city. I feel safe, you don’t need to watch your things 24/7. And also people will help if needed. Brno has fabolous night life, that you can safely enjoy. Night buses function is also well.

Just don't talkwith these people, they just want attention. Please don't go to Cejl specially at night. But if you have to pass it's okay. Brno is a safe place and the police is everywhere so it feel more safe. Take care girls

Brno is a small city, known as a students' and IT place. It's safe both during the day and night, the only one suspicious district is around Ceil street. Personally, I can leave my bag in a cafe or library when I go to a bathroom, but sure it's a personal responsibility and I wouldn't recommend to do it anywhere, if you have important things in your bag.

Brno is safe city and not so crowded as Prahue. U can still hold ur phone in ur hand with low chance of anyone stealing it (but still be aware averywhere). No problems to travel alone around the city only i would recommend avoiding underground at night because lot of homeless people (but train underground is fine).
