I felt very safe there are many activities. People's approach is nice. It is also close to many countries, which is a great advantage. I was able to go to Vienna, Germany and Lithuania with ease. I enjoyed every moment I lived here

Solo travel

I loved Brno and I really enjoyed it there. Great shopping, food, very affordable prices, beautiful cathedral, cool castle, and excellent beers. The old town is beautiful.

Brno is a student city, so it’s always lively, especially during the school term. It’s full of cultural events and also people from the Erasmus programme. There’s one edge part of the city I wouldn’t recommend going to, and that’s “Cejl,” but otherwise it’s a really lovely city.

Brno is like small family and student town for party and GREAT to co next to other Czech cities (also easy to get to Bratislava, Budapešt or Berlín) , ofc there are not that friendly areas but during the day i wouldnt see any problems.

Day: The more u are away from train station the better u gonna feel. But its nothing rlly to be worried abt :) Night: At night it kinda depends on where are u going. The train station at night is alright bcs there are lot of people waiting for buses so its not that bad.

Brno is a really good and safe city for women. As long as you’re careful around the main train station or some specific spots, there’s nothing to worry about. Every city has its own sketchy areas, but overall Brno is quite safe. There are definitely some “crazy” people here—meaning you might see things that are unusual or surprising—but that’s true anywhere, and it’s usually nothing life-threatening.

I've spent a lot of time in Brno throughout my life and I've never encountered any safety issues. If you walk alone at dark at some "worse" places, some strange people might shout at you, but I haven't heard about anyone having real problems with them.
