The best safe place is Prague, i loved it. İ went to there celebrate my birthday ans of course explore the heart of Europe, i enjoyed it. İ tries Trdelnik with ice cream and some foods from Christmas market
Posted: October 26, 2024I was in Prag and I felt really safe. We stayed in a hostel like 40 minutes from the city but it was really easy to go there by train and bus. Even at night they are great and you can experience the night life.

As a person who don't like the big cities, Prague really surprised me! It's so beautiful! The streets are colorful and wide. A lot of great parks: In Riegrovy Sady you can see the sunset In the huge park of the replica of Eiffel tower there is a part with a lot of apple and pear trees. 'Loving hut' it's a great cheap vegan restaurant that you pay by weight (30% off after 19:30) Lotsss of nature 20 minutes by train all around the city Lots of stuff to do and see♥️
Posted: September 1, 2024Experienced: July, 2024I really enjoyed Prague because it felt very small. I stayed in a hostel close to the old town so walking there at night felt very safe, don’t know if you’re more on the outskirts that it might feel different. Furthermore, it was a bit expensive and very crowded, but that is to be expected in august. Would recommend!

I loved prague, this has been my first solo travel as a woman and i felt super safe, I stayed in a social hostel, the mad house hostel that i totally recommend couse they organized activities every day and is a very good way to know new people. Food is good in prague, i’m gluten intolerant but it has been easy to find gluten free options all over the city. Prague is stunning, just RUN to prague
Posted: August 24, 2024Experienced: August, 2024I spent three days in Prague from Strasbourg. I travelled by direct overnight bus. It was quite practical and quite comfortable. I recommend climbing Colin Petrìn for a great view of Prague. Take the magnificent Saint Charles Bridge. Take a break and read a book in the Vojanovy Sady garden. The Museum of Modern Art is very interesting and there's a café nearby that I recommend: Ouky Douky café. I stayed in a youth hostel in Prague 2, Luma terra. It was very good.

during my trip to the "colours of ostrava" festival, me (f) and my partner (f) have experienced multiple rude and scary encounters with local czech people. as a woman, you are specifically subjected to random acts of verbal aggression. while this goes for all places in the world, i felt that the czech republic was especially bad. we were generally safe while using public transport at night. due to the festival, the time tables for public transport changed and we got lost on a tram one night - with limited access to proper translations, it was hard to find our way back to the hotel. the locals came across as unhelpful and generally happy to be left alone.

You can do most of Prague by foot, but there is public transportation also. Lovely city, lots of things to do / see. It's okay to only speak English in the Prague city but not in the overall country (but you can try to translate using an app, people are friendly)

I felt very safe there are many activities. People's approach is nice. It is also close to many countries, which is a great advantage. I was able to go to Vienna, Germany and Lithuania with ease. I enjoyed every moment I lived here

Prague is one of my favorite cities that's why I chose to return here. The vibe of the city and some part of it, always reminds me home, so i feel special here. The prices went up but it's still cheaper than other Central European countries and West/South. There's so much to see and experience

Prague is I think, one of the safest cities - we have excellent public transport and no ghetto-no go zone. There can be problems with drunk foreigners (Prague is famous for a cheap beer), but it's one incident in ages. Police are really good and will definitely help if there is any problem. I am feeling overally safe. However, I would warn before pickpockets. As Prague is an extremely turistic place, there are lot of them and also some tourist scams. I would recommend YouTube channel HonestGuide for exact advice.

Prague is generally a safe city, especially the city center since there is a lot of tourists. I wouldn’t recommend being in Zizkov area and in the main train station area after dark - many homeless people, some of them make you feel unsafe.

I own 2 minihorses, live a little in the middle of the forest I really love to read, I play floorball and love to talk to new people. I also love to travel and visit new countries I would love to meet people and be friends with them for a little longer than 2 weeks. I am good at communicating and I would really like to explore town with locals, I am open to anything, golf, cinema, walking in city, trying new food, camping, reading date or picnic. I would also go for a horse ride, whatever you want in a budget.

I love exploring new places, meeting people, having fun in nature doing different activities such as hiking, swimming, or just simply walking around. I also like cooking healthy delicious foods. Homemade food is always the best

Hi, I live with my husband and 2dogs in Prague. Both of us are partially architects. I love reading, yoga and hiking and he is techie and love music (all about it). Often we travel together, and we agreed that journey isn't complete if we don't spend a time with locals.
