I only felt unsafe in huge crowds. And then in the subway and at some stops. I fell in love with Popeyes on my very first visit. I went to a few museums and they were pretty bad. But the one near Charles Bridge was actually good.

Prague has a lot of tourists but because of that it feels very alive, clean and safe. It’s pretty cheap and there are many young people from all around the world you can meet. The architecture is beautiful and the bars and clubs are very fun. If you need any recommendations just message me :)

It’s a charming city, with so much to observe calmly. The atmosphere isn’t just something you breathe in you can truly feel it. The food is delicious, and I love that it’s surrounded by so much nature. Being in its parks feels like living in another world.

I loved Prague, but I found it a bit boring after a while. Two days felt completely enough for me to explore the city. The architecture is absolutely stunning. However, after taking photos and visiting the main landmarks, I felt like there wasn’t much else to do. It’s definitely worth visiting at least once.

Prague is a very safe city overall, I’ve personally never felt unsafe even at 3am in the middle of the center. Sometimes there are wierd people in the street but they will almost never interact with you.

I have never felt unsafe, maybe a bit at metro stops like kačerov, because of drunkies and addicts, but still ok. Often went thru the whole city around 11 pm and nothing ever happened, that would make my uncomfortable
Posted: July 3, 2026I think Prague is a relatively safe city. Of course, like any capital city, it has some less pleasant areas (Hlavní nádraží, Karlovo náměstí, Anděl), especially at night, but I don’t consider it dangerous. Most parts of Prague feel safe, and serious crime is not something people usually worry about.

As a local, I feel very safe in Prague. Of course, there are places where an unpleasant situation can happen. This is usually at the final stations of the metro or public transport, where people with drug addictions and similar issues tend to gather. But if you are non-confrontational, you are generally not in any danger. During the day, Prague is very welcoming. In areas where trouble might potentially occur, the police are usually present. If they aren't around, you can just call 156, which...

Free room 17-28 July 2026 EDIT Dec25: I realized I am washing and ironing bed linens and towels intensively. Therefore, I would ask a fee to cover increased costs for energy and water (50 CKZ = 2 eur per person per night) since 2026. I am an open-minded and curious woman, divorced, independent with an adult son. I am ready to explore the world again, meet interesting people regardless age/gender/origin/language, learn new things. I would like to meet other inspiring women from all over the world.
