We felt safe as a queer couple, the city is beautiful and there is a lot of places to visit! i especially recommend the museums ❤️ it’s also not that expensive considering how big of a city Prague is!
Posted: April 7, 2025Experienced: April, 2025we traveled to prague with my family for a weekend, we might just not have done enough research but as a gallery-enthusiasist, there werent a lot of big galleries, but I loved it still. The whole city seemed really slow, chill and quit, it was amazing. I had to study a bit, and for that I went to the vojanovy sady I loved that park, but the island and other parks were stunning, and overall clean as well
Posted: April 5, 2025Experienced: February, 2025It was a place where I felt safe, and it was very lively at night. Restaurants were common and easy to find, but reservations were necessary. It’s not an overly expensive city; there are affordable options. It was a one-day trip, so I didn’t stay overnight. Transportation was suitable for walking, but we used public transport to get to the castle.
Posted: April 1, 2025The accommodation was pretty cheap, got an Airbnb for 4 people in the city center for like 40 euros per person for 2 nights. Pretty sweet deal huh? Food was also really cheap, and quite similar to Franconia’s cuisine. Prague is just beautiful, every street every corner. We did a pretty touristy trip and it was nice

I stayed 17 days at the Drunken Monkey hostel in Prague. It's clean, the Ned's are good, and the price is fair, but the kitchen is not equipped. The location is great! Prague is beautiful and safe, I love the location food
Posted: March 16, 2025Experienced: February, 2025The city was so pretty and safe. The hotel and the restaurants were cheaper than other cities in Europe. At the hotel, we had free breakfast and I think it’s normal in Prague. I recommend too all of you to go to Prague and visit the beautiful city.
Posted: March 16, 2025I felt really safe in Prague. Even though it got dark very early, I enjoyed walking around the city alone in the evenings, even in the less touristy areas. It was super easy to get around using public transport. You just have to remember to stamp your ticket. (;
Posted: February 6, 2025Experienced: November, 2024Soo first things first. Food was good 👍🏻 - But I hab to admit since the famous Christmas market was open, it was very crowded - in the city center you could not even walk through properly. - For my shopping queens 👸 is it a nice destination; not too expensive - watch out for tourist traps - some restaurants in the city center will charge a lot and the food is not even as good. - So if you do your research before the trip, you will have a good and also cultural enriching experience in Prague. 😇

I went to prague with 2 friends to see the christmas market. Its free so very Crowded and expensive (local restaurants not so expensive tho). Its a small city but if you have plenty things to do: see the Castel, try absinthery, hot wine, eat all the local stuff etc. You also have 2 Anonymous bar very Nice and different but you have to book earlier (at least a week). You can do everythingg walking. I felt very safe there. I never felt so cold in my whole life (-10°) so prepare yourself !!

Prague is a very safe city, I felt really comfortable during my trip. Of course, like any touristy place, it’s good to stay alert for pickpockets in busy areas, but other than that, everything was great. Among the must-see spots, I recommend visiting Charles Bridge and enjoying the view of the Vltava River, as well as Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral. The Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock is also a must-see, and Letná Park offers a beautiful view of the city. I’d avoid restaurants too close to Charles Bridge, as they’re expensive and the food isn’t always worth it. Prague’s cuisine is amazing, especially goulash, trdelník, and svíčková. If you want to eat well, go to Lokál Dlouhááá for traditional food or Café Savoy for a delicious breakfast. As for the budget, Prague is pretty affordable. Accommodation costs between €30-€50 per night, and a meal is about €10-€15. Public transport is efficient and costs about €5-€10 per day. In total, about €50-€80 per day is enough to enjoy and explore the city. I stayed at Hotel Botanique, which has a great location and comfortable rooms. Getting around the city is easy; I used the metro and tram a lot, but since the city is compact, it’s also very walkable. One important tip: the transport ticket should be validated ONLY ONCE, and from that time, it’s valid for the duration you selected at the time of purchase. Validating the ticket multiple times, as we do in Paris, will invalidate the ticket and you could get fined. On my itinerary, on the first day, I visited Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and Letná Park. On the second day, I went to Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, and ended the day with a boat tour. On the third day, I explored the Jewish Quarter and relaxed with a beer at Riegrovy Sady.

In mornings and afternoons it feels safe, but I wouldn’t go out at night alone. But when I’m with my friends (even if it’s only girls) it’s okay. Just keep in mind that there’s a lot of pickpockets in center and touristic places.

I felt very comfortable walking around the city. I stayed at OneFam hostel in the city Center and it was very nice. The people were friendly and I would all in all recommend going to this city. The architecture is breathtaking
