that’s super touristy place, many bars and clubs. i didn’t feel safety walking alone at nights. many men trying to pick u up and meet, but at the daytime that’s okay. sea is pretty muddy, every time there are boats with parachutists who interfere with swimming and walking along the beach: they are constantly chasing ppl who passing by shore because they need to jump, and also the boat passes quite close to the shore, so swimming becomes not very comfortable. but in that place i found the cheapest hotel for 350 batt/pnight. so if u planning to travel around whole phuket u can stay, that’s convenient to go around, because location not too south and not too north. But if u prefer to stick in one place and u ain’t a club person, that’s place not for u. good luck, honey
